Activate your creativity this Spring Break! In this 4 day Art Club, young artists (ages 9-13) will make striking portrait pieces, collages, and explore with imagination and wonder. ACAC’s artist in residency Soynika Edwards-Bush will open up her studio space to guide your child in making art and creating lasting memories.
Students will bring family photos that they can use as inspiration for their portrait work, they will learn to use portraits to create narratives and challenge themselves to learn new artistic and expression techniques. Soynika’s Spring Break Art Club is held Tuesday, April 19 through Friday, April 22, 2022, from 9 am to 2 pm; the camp ends on Friday (April 22) with an art reception featuring the work of the campers.
COST
Non-members: $100 Members: $80
The camp is limited to FIFTEEN students per week in order to provide one-on-one art education.

*Campers must bring a lunch and snack every day to eat during supervised breaks. We ask you to avoid peanut products.
*All materials and instruction are covered in the class fee.
* Due to space availability, this workshop is limited to 15 students and will be subject to cancellation if minimum attendance requirements are not met.
* Registration fees are fixed and will not be prorated due to missed sessions.
*Art Club fees are non-refundable. Refunds are only applicable if the class is canceled due to insufficient attendance.
