Mobile Arts Council to host free artist grant workshop

The Mobile Arts Council and Alabama State Council on the Arts (ASCA) are offering a free workshop at the Alabama Contemporary Art Center on Feb. 12, 2019.

Representatives from the ASCA will be at the workshop to discuss their Individual Artist Fellowship Grants. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask the ASCA questions about artists grants currently available.

ASCA awards Artist Fellowships of $5,000 for artists working in crafts, dance, design, media, photography, music, literature, theatre and the visual arts each year.

The deadline for this year’s submissions is March 1.

This workshop is sponsored by Alabama Contemporary Art Center, Alabama State Council on the Arts and Mobile Arts Council.
