May Organization Member of the Month

Congratulations to our May Organization Member of the Month, Mobile Art Association!

Mobile Art Association (MAA) is the ideal organization for amateur and professional artists.
It has a long history of supporting, educating, and providing opportunities for members to show their work. The organization was first organized in 1943 by Edmund DeCelle, William Broughton Bush, and other local artists.

Meetings are on the third Sunday of each month, from September through May, at the Springhill Presbyterian Church.  Membership is $20 per year. MAA offers two or more opportunities for members to share their work, including a Spring Member Show and a Fall OPEN Juried Show.  The organization encourages our community to reach out with any questions or to find how to join and support.

Be sure to check out MAA’s Annual Spring Show exhibited at Mobile Arts Council’s Gallery @ Room 1927. The show will be up through the end of May. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday.
