#GivingTuesday is December 3, 2019, and Mobile Arts Council is #GivingMobileArt from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. during a LIVE Stream-A-Thon on Facebook. The LIVE event will be hosted by Executive Director Lucy Gafford, Kalenski “Dj Dirty Dan” Adams, “The Voice of Mobile” Barry Silverman, and Mobile Arts Council Board President John Mims.

The #GivingMobileArt fundraiser will entertain viewers for eight-hours with interviews and performances from over 30 different local arts organizations and artists. Some of those in attendance include Smokey Jokes Comedian Compton Smith, Mobile Symphony Orchestra, Central Arts Collective, and PowerLines Poets. The campaign is made possible by partnership with the Mobile County Health Department.

#GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, this idea has grown into a global movement, inspiring communities around the world to give back. All Mobilians are encouraged to tune in on December 3rd and contribute to our mission of promoting arts and culture in Mobile by #GivingMobileArt!
