April Artist Member of the Month

Congratulations to our April Artist Member of the Month Phoebe Graham!

Phoebe has been creating art for as long as she can remember. After taking online art classes in high school, she chose to defer college and attend a gap-year program at Cowhouse Studios in Wexford, Ireland—an experience that solidified her path as a working fine artist and helped shape her artistic voice.

A devout Christian, Phoebe views her work as a way to glorify God, weaving faith into both her practice and purpose. She is currently studying Art and Philosophy at the University of Mobile, where she continues to grow creatively and spiritually.

Her portfolio features portraiture across a range of media, often paired with subject matter that reflects the brokenness of the world. Her award-winning piece Katrina—which received Best of Show in our biennial FIVE exhibition—depicts her father and a friend standing in the yard of their destroyed home just days after Hurricane Katrina. Deeply personal, the work speaks to the lasting impact of the storm on her family while pointing to themes of resilience, faith, and God’s presence in the midst of devastation.

Join us in celebrating Phoebe and her powerful, thoughtful work.
