Artist Statement:

Creative awareness is a powerful force! It can usher us out of despair, into a state of grace, transform sadness into laughter, or carry us from blind frustration into humility and peace.

Whether with stories, poetry, or paintings, by songs and dances, the theatre, sculpture, or simply by talking their way into our hearts with common sense and humor, the theme of my artwork is composed to highlight my gratitude for all artists. These gifted people who enhance our reality with new ideas, beauty, nature’s harmony, and greatly impact the perceptions of our own purpose in life.
