| At Bellingrath Gardens, they offer 4 Nature Nauts Summer STEM Camps. Their hands-on activities foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills and include nature art projects. Their camps encourage exploration and adventure while teaching the importance of the natural environment. Garden Sprouts Camp is an introduction to the world of plants for young nature lovers ages 5 – 7 years. Campers will discover and explore gardens, water, and wildlife while developing observation skills and an appreciation for the outdoors. Full Scale School of Music![]() This Summer, Full Scale School of Music are proud to offer Rock Band camp every week from June 1 through July 31. That means 9 weeks of music making with talented Teachers and Students!Full Scale Summer Music Camps are the perfect time to learn a new instrument, play in a band, practice your instrument, and have a great time performing together. All instruments and ability levels are welcome! Full day students should bring lunch and a drink. Half day students can bring a snack and a drink. Students can bring instruments if they have one. Let them know if you want the student to focus on a particular instrument. They often allow for students to try different instruments in this fun rock band setting. The students will perform a concert every Friday at 3:00 p.m. Morning sessions are designed for ages 5-10 and last from 8:30-11:30 each day. $140Full session is designed for ages 10-18 and lasts from 8:30-3:00 each day. $220Aftercare is available from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day during camp for $60 extra. These engaging programs let kids explore exciting science topics through experiments, projects, and interactive activities. The 4-5-year class, 6-7-year class, and 8-10-year class programs run June 1st-July 31st (excluding June 29th-July 3rd), giving younger learners plenty of time to explore, build, and ask big questions. Mobile Museum of Art ![]() MMoA’s art camps offer in-depth art knowledge with fun hands-on art activities for ages 5 – 16. Taught by trained art professionals, each class is customized by age group to explore concepts relating to the elements and principles of art, famous artists, and the MMofA museum collection. Tours in the galleries — including FOR CHILDREN: The Elements of Art & Design and Fantastical Forest — enhance students’ understanding and allow for fun interactive experiences. All camps will run Monday through Friday with the exception of June 20-23, which falls on Juneteenth. Nature Connect Alabama The Nature Connect mission is to cultivate curiosity, compassion, and connection with the natural world. In a time where computer and cell phone use is so prevalent, they believe it’s important to get kids unplugged from technology and reconnected with the natural world. Campers will hike scenic nature trails, observe birds and wildlife from the preserve’s bird blind, explore and play in the creek, and participate in engaging activities in the preserve’s outdoor classroom. Throughout the week, campers will also learn age-appropriate survival skills such as shelter building, nature awareness, teamwork, and problem-solving in the outdoors.
