Congratulations to our Organization Member of the Month Prism United!

Six years ago, a dedicated group of community leaders and volunteers in Mobile, Alabama, came together with a shared vision: to create a safe and affirming space for LGBTQ+ teens. What began as a simple peer support group soon revealed deeper, systemic challenges facing LGBTQ+ youth in the region. In response, Prism United was born.

Today, Prism United offers vital programming designed to support LGBTQ+ youth and the people who love them. Their youth-focused initiatives—Prism Teens and Prism Preteens—serve ages 10 to 18 with regular gatherings, special events, and supportive services that foster connection and self-expression. Additionally, Prism Families provides peer support and valuable local resources for parents, guardians, and loved ones of LGBTQ+ youth.

We’re proud to recognize Prism United as our June 2025 Organization Member of the Month for their unwavering commitment to inclusion, empowerment, and community care.
