November Artist Member of the Month

Congratulations to our November Artist Member of the Month, Ben Kaiser!

Born and raised in Alabama, he graduated from the University of Montevallo in 2016. There, Ben received a Bachelor of Fine Art in both Painting and Sculpture. His work is primarily figural, and nature related, often possessing a realistically rendered subject, with a surrealistic fantasy feel. He primarily works in oils, utilizing radiant pigments with multiple colorful transparent glazed layers. He also dabbles in mix media, and 3-D resin sculptures, often painting in-between layers of resin. When he is not working on his personal work and gallery showings, Ben is managing his company, Mirth Artists LLC. His company builds Mardi Gras floats and art installations. He has been involved with several community projects and was one of the artists that worked on the Mobile Museum of Art’s, “Fantastical Forest” installation.
