MAC Seeks New Executive Director

Lead the Mobile Arts Council to new heights! 

Are you ready to ignite your passion for the arts and drive transformative change in Mobile? The Mobile Arts Council (MAC) is on the lookout for an extraordinary Executive Director to lead the charge in shaping our city’s cultural landscape.

As the Executive Director of MAC, you’ll be the driving force behind:

• Strategic Planning: Develop innovative strategies to elevate the arts scene in Mobile and ensure long-term sustainability and growth.
• Fundraising: Lead dynamic fundraising efforts to secure financial support for our programs, initiatives, and the artists we champion.
• Community Outreach: Engage with diverse communities, forging meaningful partnerships and amplifying the impact of the arts across Mobile.
• Staff and Volunteer Management: Inspire and empower our dedicated team and volunteers to unleash their full potential in service of our mission.

• Proven leadership experience in arts administration or a related field, with a track record of driving impactful change.
• Exceptional strategic planning skills and a knack for turning visions into reality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Demonstrated ability to rally support, cultivate partnerships, and secure resources to fuel our mission.
