July Organization Member of the Month
Congratulations to our July Organization Member of the Month Ashland Gallery.
Proudly celebrating 30 years of serving the Midtown Mobile community. Long before it became a beloved art space, the building was home to Ashland Service Station—a full-service gas station and garage. When the transformation into a gallery and custom framing business began, the neighborhood embraced it with open arms. Longtime residents still drop in to reminisce about the old station days and the occasional treat they’d grab while filling up.
That same sense of community has remained central to Ashland Gallery’s success. Owner Cathy Collins is a passionate supporter of the local arts scene, generously offering her space for artist workshops—like this year’s Ready Hang event—and regularly championing live music throughout the Gulf Coast.
Ashland Gallery is more than a framing shop; it’s a creative hub where serious collectors, budding artists, and the art-curious all feel at home. With works by top regional artists, hands-on art classes, and a selection of quirky, joy-sparking gifts, the gallery brings creativity and connection to the forefront.
We’re lucky to have a community member like Cathy and a place like Ashland Gallery helping to celebrate all that makes Mobile’s arts culture so unique.
