Congratulations to our October Artist Member of the Month Hannah Legg

Hannah Legg is a local muralist, illustrator, and designer bringing bold, nature-inspired art to walls across the Gulf Coast!

Born in England and raised in Fairhope, Hannah’s early years were split between competitive swimming and her love of creating. She went on to earn a BFA in Illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design while continuing to excel in the pool. Since returning to Baldwin County, Hannah has worked as a freelance artist, in-house designer and illustrator-but mural painting became her true passion. The large-scale art allows her to combine the physicality she loved in swimming with the joy of connecting with people and communities. You can see her work throughout Fairhope, Foley, Mobile, and Spanish Fort.

Hannah brings these same elements-bold colors, flowing lines, and organic, nature-inspired motifs- to her instruction with Amp Up Arts, guiding students as they create large-scale artworks within their own schools. In 2024, she also collaborated with nonprofits, using her art to highlight organizations making a positive impact in the community.

When she’s not painting, Hannah enjoys time with her fiancé Jesse and family, playing Dungeons & Dragons, snuggling her cats, and exploring local breweries. Celebrate Hannah Legg this month, check out her stunning murals around town and across the bay!
