Join HMPS to learn about Wilson’s Raid from Russell Blount, author of Wilson’s Raid: The Final Blow to the Confederacy, Besieged: Mobile 1865, The Battles of New Hope Church and Clash at Kennesaw.
At the end of the Civil War, Wilson’s Union raiders marched against Nathan Bedford Forrest and his Confederate troops to destroy industrial centers in Selma, Tuscaloosa, and Montgomery. Blount will examine this pivotal moment in the Civil War through first-hand accounts of the raids.
