Submit your original artwork in any medium that explores the question: How has modern technology impacted or influenced society? Rather than thinking generally, try to pick a specific facet of society in which you have noticed change and reflect that change in your art.
If selected by jurors to exceptionally fit the theme, your art will be displayed at an exhibition in The Social Experiment in Mobile, AL! Artists will be notified of their selection on July 13. You may submit up to three pieces for consideration to this curated show. This show will take place on August 12.
It’s free! Elizabeth Brooks wants this to be an opportunity for up and coming artists on the Gulf Coast to have a chance to display their skilled work. If your work is selected, you will have the option to have your art for sale during the event.
Yes! This is optional though. By selling your artwork at this event you agree to a 40% consignment fee from the pieces sold to be paid to The Social Experiment to cover the cost of hosting the event.
