2-session Workshop: Saturday September 21 & Sunday September 22
Got a tune rattling around in your head?
Jotted down some lines that you think could be set to music?
Let Singer/Songwriter/Poet Mike Turner teach you how to turn them into song! We’ll cover music genres, lyrics, rhymes, song structure, melody, “where the music comes from”, and the “business” of songwriting – a toolkit for going forward and exploring the world of songwriting.
No musical experience required!
Session 1 (Saturday September 21): 10:00am – 3:00pm (will break for lunch)
Session 2 (Sunday September 22): 1:00-5:00pm
$60.00
Funded in part by a grant from the Alabama State Council on the Arts.
