The Mystic Order of the Jazz Obsessed (MOJO) features the talents of rising jazz star Gino Rosaria at its monthly live music event. Rosaria will lead a combo consisting of drummer Rickey Duffy, saxophonist Austin Paul, Jr., and bassist Eric Lampley.
Born and raised in Curaçao, Rosaria relocated to the U.S. in 2003 and has a Master’s degree in Classical Music Performance. He has won competitions across the nation and played with artists such as violinist Karen Briggs, jazz clarinetist Tim Laughlin, flutist Kim Scott, jazz guitarist Adam Hawley, and flutist Althea Rene. His latest contemporary jazz album, Don’t Stop Now, shot up Billboard charts quickly after release and has catapulted him into international fame.
Entrance to the MOJO event is $15, $10 for MOJO members. A cash bar and light food service are available. A raffle and door prizes will be given out.
