“Trumpets In Time” features music performed and composed by famous and notable trumpeters in jazz history. The list includes Louis Armstrong, Clark Terry, Lee Morgan, Chet Baker, Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, Thad Jones, Nat Adderley, Tom Harrell, Clifford Brown and Woody Shaw.
The performing quintet, all accomplished Gulf Coast jazz musicians, includes Roger Villines (trumpet/flugelhorn), Bob Maksymkow (woodwinds), Camara Kambon (keyboard), Steve Gilmore ( bass) and Jimmy Roebuck (drums).
Admission for MOJO’s 18th Anniversary Celebration includes a light jambalaya dinner, beverage bar, door prizes and more. $10-$15 admission at door, cash preferred for admission and donations.
