Writing from the Heart of Mobile: Frye Gaillard and Roy Hoffman, two award-winning authors born and raised in Mobile, will talk about how growing up in the Port City shaped their perspectives and careers as writers.

Both are former journalists and alumni of the Mobile Register and both have won such prestigious literary prizes as the Lillian Smith Book Award and the Clarence Cason Award. Gaillard will discuss his newest book, A Hard Rain: America in the 1960s, Our Decade of Hope, Possibility, and Innocence Lost, and Hoffman will reflect on the re-release of his prize-winning novel, Almost Family.

Light refreshments and book signing following the program in the Armbrecht/Briskman Meeting Room. For more information, please call 208-7097.
