Hello, and welcome to our little town in backwoods, Alabama. Come join the fun as you meet the girls and guys at Curl up and Dye Beauty Shop!!
Among those you’ll meet is Verna Lou Bankhead, who was Tallulah’s second cousin twice removed. Verna Lou owns the shop and there is not one person or one thing that goes on in town that she is not aware of… At Curl up and Dye, every day, between 4 PM and 6 PM, the shop is the hottest spot in town! They have happy hour with lots of moonshine, homemade Muscadine wine and juicy gossip. The constable and mayor of Wrecktum have tried to shut them down lots of times because, as you must know, this is a dry county!! But actually, it is just a front because the guys just like to get in there and join in the fun. After running in, waving their guns and threatening to shut it down, the girls have them sit a spell, hand them a drink and everyone just blends in until the Constable’s wife comes running in and drags him out by his ear. The big news is that the mayor has sold the entire downtown area to a big developer from New Orleans! The plan is to bulldoze the entire end of town and put in the South’s biggest medical Marijuana superstore warehouse called “Get Your Buzz On” and they are even going to build a casino!! The mayor is excited about the number of traffic tickets he’ll be able to cash in on! To make things worse, at the end of the strip, they are planning to build a high-end club with gorgeous people performing 24/7! Men AND women! Something for everybody! When this news gets out, tempers flare and plans are made for revenge and someone ends up dead! Come on down and see if you can help solve this backwoods, hillbilly murder!!
