AM Session – The Joy of Nature Journaling, 9 am – 12 pm
How to observe nature? How to remember what you observe? In this class, students will receive a journal focused on their environment and become explorer artists. They will catch clouds, listen to the language of birds, return to the same spots to observe changes, and go for a “color walk.’ Using words, maps, drawings, photos, and a wide variety of artistic tools and methods, students will create a deep connection with nature, art, and themselves. They will be able to continue their creative projects in the future, as they bring their journal home.
PM Session – Clay Camp – 1 – 4 pm
Michelle Payne teaches a series of clay-related projects for Spring Break Camp for Kids aged 8-12.
