Shoelaces is the story of a complicated relationship between an aging father, Reuben, who abandoned his special-needs son, Gadi, while he was still a young boy. Reuben’s kidneys are failing and Gadi wants to donate one of his to his father. However, the transplant committee objects to the procedure, claiming Reuben doesn’t have the right to authorize the invasive procedure. Gadi’s ensuing fight to save his father’s life makes this an uplifting family drama you won’t want to miss.
