Mobile Ballet: Jazzy Sunday

To kick off our 2021-2022 season, Mobile Ballet is putting the FUN in fundraising with a very special event: “Jazzy Sunday With Mobile Ballet” on October 10th!

We invite you to join us for a lively Sunday afternoon in partnership with the Mobile Carnival Museum, offering a chance to stroll through the museum’s exhibits and step out into a festive street party with a live jazz band, light bites, libations, and Mo’Bay Beignets!

“Jazzy Sunday With Mobile Ballet” will celebrate the upcoming world premiere of Katia Garza’s The Princess and the Frog, which will begin Mobile Ballet’s 2021-2022 performance season on the following weekend at the historic Saenger Theater.

This unique fundraising event provides the perfect opportunity to reconnect with Mobile Ballet friends and supporters after a challenging year. It’s a fresh start for an exciting new season, and a joyful celebration of the theme that runs through the season’s opening production — persistence and determination to follow one’s dreams in the face of any obstacle. Funds raised will support the productions and educational programs of Mobile Ballet.

At this event, Mobile Ballet will also celebrate and honor two very special friends of the Ballet for their many years of dedicated service and support — Barbara Corte and Ron Barrett.
