Join MMofA in the clay studio for a family fun ceramic drum making class inspired by featured artist Charles Smith’s Pedestal Drum, now on view through February 2 in (Un)Settled: The Landscape in American Art.
Museum education staff will guide you through a simple slab building technique to create your own ceramic drum. All pieces will be made within the two hour class period will need to dry, be fired and ready for pickup within three weeks.
