Join photographer Richard Dollison for a hands-on two part Downtown Mobile Cell Phone Photography Walking Workshop designed to help you take your smartphone photos to the next level. June 20, 2026 will be the first half of the workshop with a second date the following Saturday June 27, 2026.

This session focuses on the essentials of great photography—finding strong subjects, understanding light, and using simple composition techniques to create more dynamic, intentional images.

Through guided instruction and real-time examples, Richard will show you how to see creative opportunities in everyday surroundings and make the most of your phone’s camera. You’ll then put these skills into practice during a photo walk through downtown, exploring the city’s streets while experimenting with lighting, angles, and framing.

Along the way, participants will receive helpful tips, personalized feedback, and plenty of encouragement. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to sharpen your eye, this workshop offers a fun and approachable way to build confidence and improve your photography skills. By the end, you’ll walk away with a stronger creative perspective—and photos you’re proud to share.
