Celebrate Mardi Gras with music by The Excelsior Band! Use the following link to join the Mobile Public Library on Zoom: http://bit.ly/2YMlfdF. Librarian Ms. Rhodes will read the story “This Jazz Man,” introducing historical jazz musicians and instruments. The Excelsior Band will then be introduced as Mobile’s own Jazz Men. Mr. Hosea London will share the history of the band and information about their instruments. They will intersperse playing their music throughout the event. The public is invited to participate on Zoom and the program will be cast Live on Facebook.
