History Museum of Mobile: Colonial Eats, A Taste Through Time

Join the History Museum of Mobile for Colonial Eats: A Taste Through Time at Colonial Fort Condé! Take a bite out of Mobile’s colonial history as you taste your way through six different cultures that influenced foodways in Mobile’s early days. Each delicious tasting, provided by Naman’s Catering, will explore different culinary and cultural topics from the 18th and early 19th century, including preservation, food scarcity, and the very foundations of Southern cuisine.

The event will be Saturday, April 12th from 5:00 – 7:30 PM. Guests may arrive at whatever time they like (no need to be at the door right at 5:00). Colonial Eats will be held rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, please check in at History Museum of Mobile: 111 S. Royal St. (across the street from Fort Conde).
