Fuckup Nights is a global speaker series where stories of failed businesses and projects are told, questioned, and celebrated. Each speaker is given 10 minutes to tell their story.
Lucy Gafford, Executive Director of the Mobile Arts Council, is also an award-winning painter and sculptor in her own right and will share her own Fuckup story.
She was featured in a video about her art on AL.com, led a promotional arts video with Conde Nast Traveler about Mobile, is featured in Ripley’s Believe It Or Not’s A Century of Strange, has participated in many community arts projects and has painted commercial murals and artwork for businesses throughout the region. Her most recent and largest art project to date is currently on display at the Mobile Museum of Art – The Fantastical Forest.
