Learn to paint some of Fairhope’s famous scenery in this one-day workshop with professional artist Cat Pope. You’ll take a deep dive into how a sunset is composed, explore temperature and atmospheric conditions, and build paint layers with accurate color and value structures. Students in this highly technical class can expect to take home a valuable process for not only completing class work, but boldly attempting future projects on their own. This workshop is open to all levels of painters working in oil and acrylic mediums. Instructor demonstrations will be done in oil.
