When we speak of the Art of Tarot, we usually mean the practice of laying and reading the cards, whether we understand that practice as a tool of spiritual connection and divination or a way of using symbology and story to access deep self reflection. But Tarot and art are deeply intertwined. In this workshop, artist Sarah Rutledge Fischer will lead participants through a light tarot reading the selection of a specific tarot card on which to focus, and the subsequent creation of mixed media artwork engaging with and honoring the symbolism of that card.
Absolutely no experience is required.
All supplies are included.
Students will leave with a 8” x 10” framed work.
