Students will focus on capturing the effect of light in a landscape painting. Light controls the mood of a scene, using the correct values and color harmonies will lead to a successful painting that reflects the light of the day. Students will paint from a photo reference provided by the instructor, creating a small sketch before moving to a larger piece as they are taught, step by step, towards a finished painting.
