This demo workshop is for all level artists to learn to oil paint through observing and class discussion. This demo workshop differs from a regular class, as it is designed specifically for individuals who might wish to learn to paint or refresh their painting skills through observing the artist, rather than or prior to painting with an instructor in a group setting.
Each demo features a different image to be painted and a specific lesson plan, so participants can select to attend a demo of their choice. Participants are given a written, step by step plan to follow for painting the canvas at home at their convenience.
TWO TIMES: 10 am to Noon and 2 pm to 4 pm

“I invite artists to join me at the easel and I encourage an open discussion throughout the demo, with an ongoing Q and A, that enables us all to learn from one another. I will complete a running series of 2-hour demos of oil paintings crafted for artists at all levels. As I paint, I conduct a running dialog about the requirements of that painting, as I share skills, techniques and some fun tricks too. I encourage an open discussion throughout and invite questions from participants as well as suggestions from others. I make it lively and fun and encouraging for all.”
