Bring your writing ideas to experiment with as you learn to write short but meaningful nonfiction in this informative workshop. Bring a sack or a snack and we’ll play with words during lunch.
Alan Samry is an author, librarian, and below-knee amputee. His book Stump the Librarian: A Writer’s Book of Legs, is a memoir and history about the limb loss experience. He works at the reference desk at Fairhope Public Library. He thoroughly enjoys giving workshops for people of all ages and abilities. Alan earned an MFA in Creative Writing in 2012 and a Master of Library and Information Studies in 2017.
