We’re excited to announce the inaugural Dauphin Island Native American Festival at 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2019, at Dauphin Island’s historic Fort Gaines.
A celebration of the cultures that existed in the Alabama coastal region in the 1700s through the early 1800s, the festival will feature live storytelling and hands-on demonstrations of Native American foodways, recreational activities, and arts and crafts. Tickets include both the Festival and a tour of Fort Gaines and are $6 for ages 5-12 and $12 for ages 13 and up.
Advance tickets can be purchased online at http://bit.ly/dinativeamericanfest, at Dauphin Island Gallery or at Fort Gaines. Tickets will also be on sale at Fort Gaines the day of the event. The Festival will be a fun and educational experience for the entire family!
