Colonial Fort Conde is proud to present “A Day in British Mobile”! In recognition of the only battle from the American Revolution to occur in Mobile, they invite guests to partake in a unique living history event about the battle between Great Britain and Spain for control of Mobile.
On Saturday, May 31st, guests will be able to interact with living history interpreters and other living history groups from the West Florida Militia and the 60th Royal Regiment who will portray British soldiers, militiamen, and civilians, participate in demonstrations, and learn more about the American Revolution’s impact on the Gulf Coast. Guests will be able to immerse themselves with British military and civilians as Spanish invasion looms over the town of Mobile. This event will be included in the regular admission rates. Tickets can be purchased on the day of your visit at the History Museum of Mobile. They would like to encourage guests to dress in colonial wear to truly immerse yourself in this experience!
