FAIRHOPE UNITARINAN FELLOWSHIP
Blind Vision is recent work made by Fairhope artist Pinky Bass motivated by the question of what it means to “ go without sight”. The work continues Pinky’s focus on her personal life and how the body transforms over time using a range of alternative and traditional photographic processes such as solar-graphic and lumen printing, calk and acrylic lifts, pigment lifts using hand sanitizer as well as digital and traditional darkroom work. Eco-dyeing, braille, layered transparencies and scraps of memorabilia.
Exhibition will be on display from May 5th – June 30th
