Guest faculty pianist Dr. Benjamin Warsaw will perform a solo piano recital featuring works by several Classical music composers that “crossover” into different music genres. The concert will be in the Recital Hall of the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center on Thursday, February 20 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets for this Department of Music event will be sold at the door only. Admission is $8 general and $5 for USA faculty & staff, USA students, youths under 18 and all senior citizens (cash or check only). Musical Arts Series season passes will of course be honored for admission to this event. About the artist

American pianist, Dr. Benjamin Warsaw is Assistant Professor at Georgia Southern University, Armstrong campus, Savannah, Georgia.  As a solo performer, teacher, chamber musician, and composer, he has performed numerous concerts throughout North and South America and Europe.  In 2015, Benjamin released his debut recording, “Warsaw plays Warsaw” featuring a cycle of 24 Preludes for piano solo.  Benjamin is an ASCAP composer and was honored to have been selected as Georgia Music Teacher’s Association’s 2017 composer of the year.
