Guest curated by curatorial collective Triptych Arts, Between the Snakes is an exhibition that looks at the different codices of Black folk magic and its widespread international iterations that continue to challenge Eurocentric modernist binaries.
Triptych Arts is a curatorial collective that explores the social role and revisionist potentials of art to build spaces of mutual understanding. Founded in October 2018 by three curators: Piper Ross Ferriter, Jacqueline Kok, and Amanda Lee, Triptych Arts strives to constantly question the status quo through profound reinterpretation and restructuring of exhibitions and public programs via innovative curatorial interventions and collaborations with social organizations that aspire for alternative perspectives.
