Come meet author and photographer Glenn Wills, for a discussion and PowerPoint presentation of his work and books, Forgotten Alabama and More Forgotten Alabama.

Glenn Wills is an Alabama native who made a career of documenting Alabama’s past. As a videographer working in television news, Wills spent years traveling the state. In his journeys, he began to notice abandoned old houses, decrepit stores and billboards, derelict bridges, and other remnants of the state’s past. Eventually he felt compelled to document them before they disappeared completely.

Mr. Wills is currently working on his third book in the series which will feature older structures from the early days of Alabama statehood. In honor of Alabama’s upcoming bicentennial, he has updated his presentation as “200 Years of Forgotten Alabama.”

Books will be available for sale. For more information, please call 251-494-2298.
