In honor of Women’s History Month, Dr. Amy Selkirk will present a USA Faculty Oboe Recital featuring solo and chamber works for oboe and English horn composed entirely by women. The program includes music by “Madam” Leschanzky, Ruth Gipps, Madeleine Dring, and Alyssa Morris. The performance will take place in the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center Recital Hall on Tuesday, March 17 at 7:30 p.m. Dr. Selkirk will be joined by USA faculty colleagues Dr. Robert Holm, piano, and Dr. Andra Bohnet, flute.
Tickets for this Department of Music event will be sold at the door only. Admission is $8 general and $5 for USA faculty & staff, USA students, youths under 18 and all senior citizens (cash or card accepted).
