Each Saturday offers students aged 5+ opportunities to explore art materials and processes in a variety of 2-hour workshops meant to be accessible for every learner. Each artist will guide participants through the concept to completion, taking home an original artwork inspired by museum collection.
SEPTEMBER 6 – SHAPES & COLORS IN NATURE | Session 1: 10 am – 12 pm
This session will introduce students to shapes and forms in nature by using leaves, branches, and other natural objects to imprint on watercolor paper. To make this activity fun and engaging, students will also learn the art of origami, a Japanese paper folding technique. Students may join one session or all three to dive deeper into exploring more connections between nature and art.
