Africatown Heritage House is hosting its March 2025 Heritage Lecture Series event, a collection of speeches designed to touch on topics related to the Black experience. Chiquitta Clemons Howard will present her lecture entitled: “Let’s Talk Unity in Africatown.”
In this session, she will discuss Africatown Collective, a quarterly gathering of almost every faith institution and CBO in Africatown, which serves as a means to share information, update on one another’s work, collaborate on ongoing projects or new initiatives, and build camaraderie and unity.
