Dauphin Island Heritage and Arts Council: Dauphin Island Native American Festival

Dauphin Island Heritage and Arts Council is excited to announce the 2022 Dauphin Island Native American Festival, planned for 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Dauphin Island’s historic Indian Shell Mound Park. A celebration of the cultures that existed in the Alabama coastal region in the 1700s through the early 1800s, the Festival will feature live storytelling and authentic hands-on demonstrations of Native American lifeways, foodways, recreational activities, and arts and crafts. Tickets are $10 for ages 5-12 and $15 for ages 13 and up. Advance tickets can be purchased online at dauphinislandarts.org. Tickets will also be on sale at Indian Shell Mound Park the day of the event.
