September Artist Member of the Month

Congratulations to our September Artist Member of the month Marnée Wiley !

Marnée Wiley is a professional artist and educator based in Mobile, Alabama. Using acrylics and mixed media, she crafts bold paintings inspired by nature and the human experience, focusing on themes of motherhood, spiritual enlightenment, and unusual creatures. Her work features bright palettes and interesting textures, infusing it with femininity and a sense of child-like wonder.

Marnée is passionate about blending art and science, offering after-school art classes for middle schoolers at the Mobile Botanical Gardens. With a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Science in Environmental Science, she integrates scientific concepts into her creative practices, making learning both engaging and enriching.

When she’s not teaching, you can find Marnée at the monthly Artwalks, where she fosters meaningful connections with fellow Mobile residents and the local art community.
