October Organization Member of the Month
Congratulations to our October Organization Member of the Month, Mobile Ballet!
Mobile Ballet is the premier classical ballet school and performing company in south Alabama, providing world class performances, impactful outreach programs, and the highest quality dance training from beginner to pre-professional. Mobile Ballet was founded as a nonprofit organization in 1987 and has been an integral part of the Mobile arts community for over 35 years.
Mobile Ballet presents ECLECTIC on Saturday, October 7th at 7:30 pm at Mobile Civic Center Theater. This new production by Katia Garza is a one-of-a-kind creative collaboration with dancers, live music, and singers together on one stage – from opera to Elvis, classical to contemporary!
Mobile Ballet Company dancers and guest artists will perform alongside Mobile Opera sopranos Allanda Small and Kathryn Hedlund, Mobile singer-songwriter Symone French, and local musicians including violinist Enen Yu and others led by conductor and pianist David Ott. Guest artists include principal dancers Melissa Gelfin De-Poli and Rafael Quenedit Castro of Cincinnati Ballet, seen onstage in the sold-out Nutcracker performances last year.
Don’t miss the opportunity to experience this unique work of art, on stage for one night only! Get ticket info and more about the coming season here.
