MPL:  Out of This World Book Club

Join us for a SciFi/Fantasy book club from the comfort of your home. Meetings will be conducted entirely over Skype video chat.  This month’s topic of discussion is The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms by N.K. Jemisin.

Once you’re registered, simply have the Skype program open, log in at 10 a.m. on the day of the meeting, and click or tap the answer button. USA: Screen Printing Workshop - The Ins & Outs of Photo Emulsion

Join AIGA Mobile as Matt Hopson-Walker of the University of South Alabama Printmaking Department teaches us the ins and outs of Photo Emulsion Screen Printing. You will learn the entire process step-by-step and print your own t-shirt at the end. *Note* T-shirts are not provided, you must bring your own light-colored shirt. Saturday, June 24th 10am–2pm (lunch provided) University of South Alabama, Visual Arts Department Cost: $35 members & students/$45 non-members Pre-registration is required. Space is limited, only 15 spots available.

ART BLAST SUMMER ART CAMP at MMofA

Art Blast Summer Art Camp registration is now open! With classes for 4-7 year olds, 8-11 year olds and 12 and up, there is truly something for everyone in the wide variety of art offered throughout the summer. Ceramics, painting, and drawing in all styles inspire students to energize their creativity, while learning about elements of art and art history.  The camp will run from June 12th through July 28th.
