Help Save the Crescent Theater!

The Crescent Theater has been a Downtown Mobile treasure for many years now.  Max has been able to bring award winning films to our city while providing the unique touch of a personal experience and verbal introduction to each film before each showing. The Crescent is truly a wonderful and character-filled staple of our community. There is a threat of it's doors closing for good in the next few months if funds cannot be raised.  Please consider donating to keep this Theater up and running, helping to preserve the charm of our Downtown area.

LIVE at the Museum: Little Maker

Little Maker is the solo project of New Orleans-native singer/songwriter Micah McKee (Empress Hotel, Silent Cinema). With an ensemble cast of musicians, Little Maker is a tribute to pop music’s present unraveling and rock and roll’s folk-speckled and rustic past. Using lush violin lines and vividly nostalgic horn blasts, McKee’s ensemble amplifies the stark lyrical and melodic earnestness. Hear regional and local artists perform live in an intimate setting every 3rd Thursday for Live at the Museum, an original music and performance series celebrating the rare talents that heat and humidity can inspire. Admission is $10 a person and the performance is in Larkins Auditorium.
