Come meet Jacqueline Allen Trimble as she shares readings from her new book, American Happiness, an eclectic collection of verse. Ms. Trimble’s new work addresses everything from the death of parents, to racial tension, to the encroachment of coyotes into urban spaces. On her poetic journey, in which takes us from the personal to the political, Trimble probes our racial divide. She is compassionate and fierce, cutting at our hypocrisy with the knife of her words and willing us toward our better common humanity. A book signing will be held in the Armbrecht/Briskman Meeting Room.

Dr. Jason Rinehart and the USA Symphony Band present their final concert of the year with an homage to the season of Spring. Music on the concert will feature Alabama composer Tyler S. Grant's "Panoramic Landscapes," Travis Cross' "...and the Grass Sings in the Meadows," Mark Camphouse's "Yosemite Autumn," and Malcolm Arnold's "Four Scottish Dances."
