Max’s Picks: Hunt for the Wilderpeople

Join us for our fifth event in our Film Series I: Max’s Picks series featuring HUNT FOR THE WILDERPEOPLE! This film was hand-picked by local Max Morey, owner of the Crescent Theater in Downtown Mobile. Admission is pay what you can, and there will be free popcorn. The film will begin at 2 pm.

Mobile Ballet Presents: SLEEPING BEAUTY

The sumptuous fairy tale Sleeping Beauty, featuring gorgeous sets and costumes, is a visual delight for all ages to enjoy! The ballet tells the story of beautiful Princess Aurora who falls under a spell into a deep sleep for 100 years but awakens with a kiss from her Prince. Their fabulous wedding includes a parade of fairy tale characters that provide entertainment for all!

MPL: Learn to Knit Class- Ages 8 to Adults

Learn to knit with Ms. Wilhelmina Davis. Participants need to bring their own supplies. We recommend size 10, 10” long needles and a 7 oz. skein of regular, worsted weight yarn.

Afternoon of Stars

Hear some of your favorite arias and songs performed by the cast of Mobile Opera's production of Puccini's Suor Angelica. Stage Director, Scott Skiba and Maestro Bernard McDonald will also be on hand to discuss this 5th production of Mobile Opera's Puccini Project. A feast for your ears will be followed by a reception where you can meet the artists over light refreshments.
