The photo series is accompanied by a short statement about their work and being a woman. Ford hopes the incredible achievements of these women will inspire other women to pursue their dreams. “I want my daughters to know that they can achieve anything.” American women make up 52% of the workforce and earn 60% of undergraduate and master’s degrees, yet they only make up 14.6% of executive officers and less than 20% of Congress.
